Hands-On: Upload a Video to Vimeo

Overview
Vimeo is a video-sharing site that offers both free and paid services.  With a basic (free) account, you can store up to 500MB of content each week.  With the free version, you’ll also deal with banner ads and fewer levels of customisation.

Cost
The basic version of Vimeo is free. Vimeo Plus will cost you US$9.95/month.

Deleting Your Vimeo Videos
To delete your video, navigate to the video you want to delete. Press your phone’s menu button. This will vary from phone to phone. You’ll see a pop-up menu. Press 'Delete'. Confirm that you want to delete this video.

Closing your account
If you’d like to close your account, you can log into Vimeo using a browser and navigate to your account settings page and click 'Delete your account'. You will see a confirmation screen where you enter your password and confirm the deletion. Note: Vimeo deletes the videos and your account from viewers, but does not disclose how long your data may stay on their servers.

Sharing on Other Sites
Once your video is uploaded on Vimeo, it’s easy to share across other sites.

Vimeo also has some features that help you to make your video easier to view on mobile phones: https://vimeo.com/help/faq/mobile-apps/mobile-videos

Using without Connectivity
If you know you are shooting video without connectivity, you can plan to upload to Vimeo when you are near a computer with connection.
